Office Officer

So, here's the deal:

We're mostly a web-based app sort of place, but we want to get better on the desktop. Our clients spend a lot of time in Outlook and Excel, and we want them to be able to work with their data when they are not in Firefox.

Your mission: extend and improve our existing Office add-ins, contribute on the server-side of the integration, and overall own this portion of the software.

Requirements:

• A thorough understanding of the Office 2003 and Office 2007 object models
• Client-side C# development experience
• Ability to manage all aspects of the development process, from build environment to installer packaging

Must Be Willing to Learn:

• Enough Java to be able to read and maintain our web services
• Some basic financial and statistical metrics, and basic accounting
• Excel charting and complex workbook development

Please Highlight Experience With:

• Continuous Integration: CruiseControl.NET, Nant
• Web service and XML schema design; SOA evangelists will be tolerated but perhaps not embraced
• Participation in Open Source projects
• XP, Scrum, or other Agile experience
• Any other technical skills or experience that you think will be of interest
• Experience with financial instruments (equities, fixed income, FX, swaps, futures, forwards, etc.)
• Experience with Hedge Funds or other Alternative Investment Vehicles
